A different perspective

I posted a message last week and the comments from many blew me away. So “the gang” has asked to delve into it a bit deeper for you. It shall be a meditation of sorts to assist in seeing your world from a new perspective. So without further adieu:

Sit comfortably and gently close your eyes.

Breathe deeply. With each inhalation and exhalation, your muscles soften, shoulders relax as does your mind.

Breathe. Your lungs fill to their capacity with each inhale and further relax your body with each exhale.

When you are ready, envision your world as you wish it to be. See you living your love. See you speaking your truth with great compassion and integrity as well as great respect from others. See the world, your world, in harmony.

If anything uncomfortable arises, simply send it/them love. No pre-conceived notions of how it may turn out, just simply love and release it.

Feel your world expand. Feel it joyfully vibrate. Feel it filled with light.

Let these emotions resonate and infiltrate throughout your entire being. Until the tips of your toes and fingers are feeling this joy.

Breathe deeply and exhale loudly.

When you are ready, open your beautiful eyes. See the world anew. See it with joy. See it as it is meant to be seen; with love.

Continue to sit until you are fully grounded and ready to embrace the remainder of your day.

Now go forth and live your love!

The “evil” enemy

It is butterfly season in the area where I live.  Dozens and dozens are flitting around doing their thing.  All shades of color; iridescent blues, yellows and a few purple and orange ones.  It’s a grand way to stop for a moment or two and revel in nature’s beauty.

One day my puppy, who is all of 70 pounds of pure puppy lovin’, went charging out of the house growling and barking.  I look up to see what had made her act so since she is one of the most gentle creatures I know only to realize it was a swallowtail butterfly!  A butterfly!  After I stopped laughing I realized this was new phenomena to her.  She was afraid of something new.  Hmm…how often have I done the same thing only to embrace this newness once I kicked fear out?  How often have you done this?  Why, as humans, do we tend to fight the newness? The unknown?  Why do we like to wallow in what we know and feel safe in even if we don’t like it?  It took some pondering and chatting with the angels to realize that as humans we come in with past life memories, we get programmed through society what is accepted and not accepted, we learn that status quo is an okay thing. Harumpf I say!  No longer!  From that day, I am embracing new ideas, concepts and listening with a more open heart.  I’ve asked Archangel Gabriel to help me be more creative in accepting these new things and actually incorporate them into the fold of life.  Can you do the same?  I hope so!

Ironically enough, within days of Gabi growling at a beautiful butterfly, they now flock to her when she rests in the shade.  I’ve actually seen a few land on her body.  She has embraced a sworn enemy and made them into a friend.  What a wonderful symbol of what we can do when our hearts open and we explore life with no judgment and add a dash of eagerness to be more loving and accepting of others.

What is the condition of your home?

Image an old house.  On the outside it looks rather unloved, worn, old, neglected.  Probably a few worn holes or very big holes where the material has been eaten or damaged by weather.  Visualize this old house – deserted, cobwebs, some nameless critters running around.  Full of memories, perhaps even a photo or two left behind along with some books.

Image you as this old house.  No you are not old, but have been slightly neglected, some cobwebs, dusty; not fulfilling your soul’s desire.  Not shining in your full glory.  This is not a judgment, but an analogy of how we can, at times, lose track of where we were and are heading.

Now image going into that house and repairing those holes.  Those imbalances, those hurts that have left a “hole” in how you can observe and react to circumstances within your life.  Those holes have let life slip through at times.  Now feel those holes being repaired and healed. Feel the more solid building taking shape and how much stronger it feels as it joins with the original frame.  Feel the roof protecting and holding the framework together.  Feel the walls supporting the foundation and protecting the insides where the heart of the home is.

With repairs now remedied, secure, and strong, go in and clean out your home from cobwebs and dust.  Polish the floors, scrub the walls, add some new lightbulbs.  Doesn’t your house feel better as the cobwebs are now gone?  Your thinking is clearer.  The walls are clean, leaving no room or residue for imbalances to stick.  The lightbulbs, add, well light – illuminating the room, ideas, pathways much better, allowing you to see where you are going and how you are to get there.

As your house becomes cleaner, clearer, windows washed, painted, you are ready to move in – bring in those great ideas, see them flourish and take root within the house.  Painting the rooms any color that vibrates with you and brings you joy.  Decorate it as you wish, bring forth your desires, dreams.

Calling on the entire angelic realm – Sandalphon for building your strong foundation. Uriel for security.  Gabriel for creativity and birthing of new ideas. Jophiel for added strength. Raphael to heal the hurts.  Chamuel to bring in an overflowing stream of constant love.  Michael for letting your home speak its mind and blissful protection.  Raziel for allowing your home to gently guide you.  Metatron for connecting your home to its greatest purpose.

Changes ~

As many of you know, we moved at the beginning of this year. After being in one place for over 15 years, it has taken quite a bit of time to feel settled and call this house “home.”

It all started innocently enough when my honey and I decided to flip the rugs between the living and dining areas. Such a simple act giving immediate results. The rug between the foyer and living areas now melded. The dining area was more jazzed and felt more alive with the new colors. It felt like home.

Hmmm…what else could we do to keep this momentum?

Paint!

We had originally set our office space up in the basement. It’s a beautifully finished “lower level” as the sales agents now call it (heaven forbid you call it what it is – a finished basement ) We never used it feeling quite isolated and removed from the rest of the family, not to mention that it was the basement after all with no windows. We moved Scott upstairs months ago to the guest room for his office space and as you may remember from last week’s note, mine was the dining table. A big ol’ house with no space to call my own.

So how does this relate to paint? Well! so glad you asked…we painted the sunroom a beautiful shade of blue to bring the outside in. This room is flooded with loads of floor to ceiling windows and the blue just reflects the sky on sunny days and cools the soul and yet energizes it for working. We then moved all of the office furniture to this room. Ahhh…we both now have our own space that we can share together and I am seriously getting so much more editing done now than I had in weeks sitting at the dining table.

Such little changes. Very inexpensive changes – just the cost of a gallon of paint. A little work and viola! a brand new room bringing in new energies that allow more focus and joy to settle in.

It feels like home.

So your message for the week – what small changes can you implement within your home, office even car that can set your mind in motion to enable you to start anew with a clearer, more focused mind? Ask the angels if you are unsure. Specifically, ask Archangel Gabriel – the Angel of birth and death to assist in getting rid of the old to allow the new to flow so easily in.

How do you spell relief?

Some of you may recognize that phrase from an old commercial.  However, the angels, with their usual sense of humor, have asked to use this phrase in relation to the here and now.

Last week I was at the beach, a small barrier island just off the coast with my oldest daughter.  Due to the tremendous amounts of rain recently, the vistas were lush, vegetation was rejoicing and the mosquitoes were horrific.  Stores were selling out of bug spray.  Every known natural remedy was being used. All helped – a little.

Mosquitoes, I truly believe, could be used as a torture device.  They are insidious, annoying and rather pesky little guys.  Ahhh… the relief.

How did we find relief?  Going to the beach which was gorgeous.  Wind blowing off the ocean, soft waves and ahhh….

The relief finally came for the entire island with the bombing.  Literally a World War II bomber plane bombs the island with spray and instantaneously the “skeeters” are gone.  We really don’t want to know how this is affecting us humans.  Please don’t ask.  It’s rather scary.  But relief was had.  One could once again walk freely outdoors without breath holding, running to and fro from car to building and shoulders actually dropped.  Tensions lessened.  All in all it was a great thing.

So how does this pertain to you, us on a regular non-mosquito invasion?

I noticed throughout the week, when I wasn’t focusing on the little guys that I could enjoy moments bug free.  Moments turned into hours.  Hours turned into more hours.

I wasn’t focusing on the negative.

Hmmm…therein lies the trick.  When we focus on the muck, the icky nonsense, the pesky invasion, we get exactly that.  Oh and so much more of that.

Instead, don’t focus on that stuff.  Focus on the wondrous things that can be had for the asking.  Focus on the relaxation.  Let your shoulders relax.  Breath deeply, fully, expanding the abdomen and then exhaling.  Oh, a smile here and there doesn’t hurt either.  It loosens the heart.  It loosens the soul.  It raises your glorious expectations and gives cause for the new to begin again and again and again.

Call on Archangel Zadkiel to release those cords of muck. Then envision the Violet Flame to assist in the releasement and then transmuting those energies to a much lighter, loving one.

So now, how do you spell relief?

just a musing

My honey recently brought home bunches of freshly cut gladiolus just because. For those of you not familiar with this flower, it sends up a rather large stalk from which 15 or more flowers will bloom in succession. The colors of these particular flowers were white, pink and red. Pureness, self-love and deep soul love.

They are sitting on the dining table, which doubles as my desk and I get to sit in their beauty on quite a regular basis. It occurred to me on the third day or so that the flowers closer to the top will not bloom until the ones underneath have fully opened and in some cases, have died back.

What a great metaphor for us. We can’t fully bloom until we have completed certain tasks along our path. We can’t fully bloom until we have nourished ourselves deeply from the core. We can’t fully bloom until we reach for the stars.

How can we further embrace this knowledge and nourish ourselves deeply and completely so we can continue to grow with the greatest vitality and beauty? How can we reach for the stars without having a strong foothold on which to stand? How can do anything for others without first loving ourselves first?

The angels that have come forward to assist all in this arena;

Metatron – reach for the heavens and you will surely be supported in endeavors of your highest good.

Uriel – bring forth that vibrant lifeforce from deep within your soul.

Chamuel – love yourself as deeply as we love you.

All this from a bunch of gladiolus!

WOW!

Life is such a wonderful grand adventure!

I recently returned from my business trip. Now most of you don’t know it was a cruise to Alaska with Hay House with a seminar for writing and getting your book(s) published.

That was my emphasis; get my books published. What I didn’t expect were the connections I would make at soul levels with complete strangers. What I didn’t expect was the beauty and pureness of Alaska to be so profound.

Even though the integration is still going strong, I felt compelled to write to every one of you to hopefully instill within that we can have this each and every day no matter where we live. We can embrace life to the fullest every single moment and realize our potential and gifts that we are just beginning to share and expand upon. We can explode with love not only for others, but for ourself and in so doing find so much more to share.

We can do this and in order to reach our potential, must in such a way that only brings us to joy and love so consuming that we can actually become overwhelmed in the emotions. That is not to say we walk around like blubbering idiots (although some close to me say I can cry at the drop of a hat to which I say THANK YOU!), but we can walk around with such joy in our souls that everyone we come in contact with is affected by our presence without uttering a word. Wouldn’t that be a wondrous gift to have – spreading joy and love without saying a word. Be able to spread this joy with a mere glance of your eyes.

We have that kind of power within.

We have this kind of joy within.

We have this kind of love within.

Dig a little, for you won’t have to go too deep to find the well, and let it gurgle and bubble forth.

The angels dance with us daily. They start doing a jig when we reach these levels. They shout and sing for joy when we share it all. Call in Archangel Melchizedek to help you shift the awareness from our “reality” to what is truly happening.
